Hi! My name is Anya and I would like to share some of my interests and goals in life with you. When I was 4 years old I came to the USA to live from Russia. That Christmas my mom and my brother Danny traveled to Siberia to find me. After coming home, I met my Dad and my 2 other brothers George and Matthew. And about 10 huge Alaskan Malamutes!!! For over 35 years my mom, Karen devoted her life to all animals. I started to listen when my mom would talk to people, about taking good care of their pets. We owned Alaskan Malamutes, the Shiba Inu, Persian Cats, and use to raise Rocky Mountain Horses. Sometimes my mom would spend hours explaining information she knew to people who had questions about owning a new puppy, what to do about health problems, what were the best dog foods, etc. I realized my mom had a wealth of information to share with people and never asked for anything in return.
At this time my brother Danny was showing our AKC dogs with my mom, and my youngest brother Matthew was taking care of the dogs in our Kennel. My Dad was the horse lover. We enjoyed raising many foals together. So after a few years I decided I wanted to become a veterinarian and devote my life to helping animals too. After we moved to a more secluded part of New Jersey, my brothers had moved on and I started my pet supply business, in hopes of saving to become a veterinarian someday. I was only 13 years old at the time but knew what I wanted. I realized I would have to work hard and stay home weekends to save for college. George my oldest brother was now moving back home and would be caring for our shibas with me. This is a 24/7 job, which allot of people don’t understand.
We take excellent care of all our pets. My mom had always taken care of the dogs, cats and horses and made sure all had food, fresh water, and clean bedding. Our dogs receive allot of extra love , and are born in our arms. We are with them as soon as they are born.
Icewind is known for pets with great temperaments. When you arrive at Icewind I will be here to meet you and explain to you all the knowledge I have learned from my mom. Sometimes it seems like we answer over a million questions in a day about puppies. If you need puppy supplies Anya’s Puppy Supplies will be open for your convince. I can definitely tell you what your puppy will need. My weekends are now devoted to helping people own a family pet for many years. My mom is more involved in paperwork, answering emails and working with rescue dogs. Before making your appointment , please fill out our puppy application and send it to us, so we can help you select the right puppy for your family.
